Description
The view looking through the railing of the original Naval Bridge to the newer "twin" Navajo Bridge and Marble Canyon, northern AZ. Construction on the original bridge began in 1927. As vehicles became wider, larger and heavier, it became difficult to accommodate them, so construction on a new bridge began in 1993. The original bridge is now a pedestrian bridge. They are only one of seven land crossings across the Colorado River for 750 miles.
